is an iris scan can be use as an identity of a corpse of human instead of using DNA matching?

    As this article points out, the iris scan is not as easily fooled as fingerprints or facial features, but you can't take an iris scan of the dead.  DNA can be obtained off of a very small sample.


  2. Wikipedia says, "Iris scanning is a relatively new technology and is incompatible with the very substantial investment that the law enforcement and immigration authorities of some countries have already made into fingerprint recognition."
