  1. not sure but the cats have no tails

  2. I'm answering this from the Isle of Man,on a decent broadband connection through ManxTelecom so that's the first question done. WIFI coverage is quite extensive. There is a range of mobile phone services, with good coverage all over the island, except in a few isolated locations in the mountains.Nice to know you know about the double 'n',but Isle of Man has only one. Kingdom of Mann,or just Mann, use the double 'n'.  It's short for Mannannan, the Viking god of the sea.My phone is on contract because I travel a bit,but there are PAYG services, with top-up cards available almost everywhere, and a top-up facility in most of the cash machines. The trials for the new 3G phones were done over here a few years ago, before general release,so we were ahead of the rest of Britain at that time. We're still in the front line.                            www.manxtelecom.com will give you all the info for phones and internet and www.manx,net is worth looking at too.

  3. As of last spring when I visited, that was not true. I was able to use my mobile and get online in our hotel. I saw many people using mobiles and had wireless access in our hotel in Douglas.

    Hope that helps.

  4. It's not a third world country you know...

Why would it not have mobiles or internet? It has both.

  5. Not only are there no mobiles or any internet access, but the people live in caves and have to fight off the dragons every day.
