  1. That's from Yu Yu Hakusho.

Anyway, she is obviously wearing a martial art outfit, not Kimono. Kimono doesn't look like that at all.

    *this is kimono: http://www.cleaning-w.co.jp/img/page2/ki...

And what she is wearing is probably "inspired" by some Chinese martial art outfits like these:  http://ec2.images-amazon.com/images/I/51...

These uniforms are Shaolin Monk uniforms.

  2. Japanese men and women wear Kimono, and during summer they wear Yukata, summer kimono  or japanese summer clothing, and men wear Jimbe...

  3. That's from Yu Yu Hakusho.

I think that's one scene from martial art plot. If so, it' called Budogi,(martial art cloth),

  4. Actually, it's not Japanese traditional style clothing.

It's like Chinese old style, but I'm not sure if it is a correct or not.

  5. That clothing resembles Manchurian-Chinese clothing of the 17th century Qing Dynasty, which replaced the native hanfu clothing.

Here are some pictures for comparison:

    Qing Dynasty Cheongsam: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h...

    Chinese Hanfu: http://img.hc360.com/cloth/info/images/2...

    Japanese yukata: http://kyoto696.rsjp.net/contents_images...

The cheongsam in the picture is a rudimentary example. Some people would've worn a layer over it, which would resemble the clothes in your picture.
