Question about kick boxing?

I am going to join a class called 'Body Combat' at my gym. It's basically a mix of kick boxing and other martial arts. I'm really looking forward to starting. I'm just wondering which parts of your body it helps to tone. I guess arms, but would it help with thighs, bum, stomach...?

  1. Your hips are very important in kickboxing, as are your arms, knees, and shins. When you want to put power in a kick, you need to be able to make your hips go around with the kick, putting more power than just kicking it. You always do a round kick with your shin for maximum damage because that is one of the strongest bones in your shin. When you punch make them quick and decisive and always bring your hand back to your defensive stance making the number 11 with your arms. You know... Bruce Lee style? XD Anyway if you need more tips just contact me, hope I helped!

  2. Any type of combat requires a strong core.  You will definitely work your abs, legs, arms, everything!  (considering that you follow proper technique and form!)
