  1. poor kitten

  2. Yes.  She needs to understand that it's not acceptable to bother you when you're asleep.  As long as she is confined with water and a litter box, she'll be fine.  If you feed dry food (constant feeding), then she should have food as well.

  3. Putting the cat in her box (what box?) is not going to teach her anything.  Clap loudly or get a can with coins in it and shake it every time she tries to get on the bed if you don't want her up there.  Why don't you want her up there?  What is she doing exactly?

You can set guidelines if you don't want her up there.  Does she have a comfortable cat bed of her own to sleep in?  Give her something more attractive.

You can also lock her out of the room as long as she's in a room with water and litter during the night, but again, she's not learning anything this way.

As a last resort you can get a water sprayer and spray a bit towards the cat when she jumps up.

If she's not allowed on the bed, it has to be ALL the time, not just when you're sleeping in it.  Otherwise she will be confused.

  4. personally i would think so

the cat needs to learn not to jump on the bed

eventually she will learn this and most likely wont bother to do what she does now
