its normal in wii the light in in orange not red if in turn off?

Yes this means that you have activated wii connect 24 to recieve messages and updates for your wii console. To turn wii connet 24 off go to settings then find wii connect 24 and click off. Hope this helps

yes, originally, the older wiis had the light turned off completely when they were off, but after a firmware update, they now turn orange.

Its normal its just telling you that your wii is connected to the internet and you may receive messages while your not playing

when it turns orange that means ur connected to the internet( should unplug it, can sometimes cause things to over heat) when red that means like..it snot connected to the internet
