  1. Automatic...Fires repeatedly with the trigger held back.

Semi-automatic...Fires single shot with each trigger pull.

Sawed off shotgun...Barrel sawed off to allow very wide shot pattern.

  2. If your talking American guns then "friendly fire" and "collateral damage" are other terms

  3. are you kidding, even a poor grasp of english would give you a clue

  4. A. Automatic is the firing of the weapon by holding down the trigger.  It will continue to dispel rounds as long as the trigger is held down.

    B. Semi-automatic will fire a round every time the trigger is pulled, no bolts actions to deal with etc.

    C. Sawed off shotgun is the practice of shortening the barrel and/or stalk in order to shorten the overall length of the long gun.  This allows it to act as a powerful short firearm.  Also, it is a myth that cutting the barrel down gives you a wider shot pattern, sorry, the 9 inches gives you little increase in the shot pattern.

Here are some other terms you will find, "Machine gun" which is synomous with an automatic, I usually picture a belt fed weapon with this.  Sniper Rifle, a powerful rifle with dispels large caliber cartridges designed for kill shots at long ranges beyond the normal service rifle.

  5. a] automatic

"automatic, means that you can hold the trigger and it will continue to fire."

    b] semi-automatic

"As fast as you can pull the trigger is as fast as it's going to shoot."

    c] sawn off-shotgun

"sawn off-shotgun is when they cut the "barrel" shorter to make it have a wider shot, this gun is often related with gang's and criminal's. It's also illegal to have a sawn off shotgun, even if you have a licence to own the gun"

  6. It is disrespect for the objects and society, the people who misuse them should be under detension for intent to violate the civil order of society!

  7. Automatic means the weapon will continue to fire as long as the trigger is pulled (until it runs out of ammo anyway)

Semi-automatic means once a round is fired another round is automatically chambered but won't fire wihtout another squeeze of the trigger.

A sawn-off shotgun is when the barrel of a shotgun is literally sawn down in a length less than 18".  This gives the weapon as extremely wide shot pattern and allows it to be concealed more easily.

  8. there are two people who have described semi-automatic wrongly don't listen to them they said stuff like it fires three rounds at a time. wrong.

a)automatic (often refered to as fully automatic) means you only have to pull the trigger once to fire out the whole clip of rounds in the gun.

b)semi-automatic means that with each pull of the trigger you fire one round.

c)is practically the same as a regular shotgun except the barrel has been sawn off, what this does is it makes it easier to conceal and is more maneuverable in tight spaces.

  9. Automatic - 1 Pull of the trigger will release bullets until the magazine is empty or you stop pulling.

Semi-Automatic - 1 Pull of the trigger will release just 1 bullet.

Sawed-off Shotgun- A Shotgun with the barrel sawed off making it shorter.

  10. ok tards a Automatic oporaites like this the gas explotion shoots the bullet out but at the same time it ejects the shell and puts another one in  a semi-automatic does the same thing only you hold the trigger. A sawn off shotgun the has the half of the barrel sawn off which makes pattern wider of the bbs.

  11. a)  rounds fire as long as trigger is depressed

    b)  limited rounds fire w/each trigger depression

    c)  "sawed", not "sawn" - cutting the barrel off a shotgun so as to make it more concealable and increas the spray of shot at short range.

  12. shoots like machine gun

a shoots as fast as you pull the trigger

Sawed off shot gun is just what it is

  13. Just a point about "sawn-off shotguns".

I  think its' true to say that shot-guns are more often sawn down to make them more easy to conceal than to increase the spread of the shot.Shortening the barrel does however reduce the movement of the weapon by the firer in order to engage a target at short-range.

  14. a) automatic- the rifle will shoot extensively till you pull of the trigger or the clip runs out of ammunition.

    b) semi-automatic- shoots bursts of shots rather than extensively. such as a three round burst. pull the trigger and three shots unload making you have to pull the trigger again to shoot three more shots.

    c) saw off-shotgun- its a shotgun shortened to be more compact. hence the name SAWED OFF.

  15. Automatic is a weapon that empty's the clip by pulling the trigger and holding it once, semi-automatic you only get one round per pull, sawed off shotgun is just a shotgun that has a short barrel!

  16. What weapons?

    Luke 9.25,55-56,60
