  1. 3 cans a day is not enough for a still growing cat nursing 3 kittens. Get some dry kitten food and leave it out all the time in addition to the 3 cans. Worming her is also a good idea but call your vet first to see which kind of wormer he recommends.

  2. What's the Vet for? Get your cat there now!!  Heart worms, worms period!! Insufficientt diet!!  Call Your Vet NOW!!!

  3. It sounds like she could have worms- and that the kittens could also get worms from her.

You need to use a kitten-friendly dewormer, preferablely Drontal, on both her and the kittens.

  4. raising babies is stressful.

the first few weeks, mom does not get much time to eat. at 4 weeks, they are starting to eat solid food, mom is cutting back on nursing, and mom can finally eat and put on some weight.

three cans is not a lot, assuming you mean the little cans.

a vet visit wont hurt, she could have worms.

and, make an appointment to get her spayed while you are there.
