  1. they would have to be 18.

  2. i suppose technically it is "illegal", but it doesn't really matter. do your parents know you're going?

having them buy you one is better than buying a ticket to another movie, and then sneaking in.

  3. Some theatres will let you get away with it. Just ask someone to get the ticket for you. Down where I live they make you have an ID for every single ticket you buy. It's lame, but some places do let you get away with it. goo d luck!

  4. No, you'll be fine.

  5. just have someone buy you a ticket.

  6. No, as long as you have someone THERE that is old enough to see an R rated movie, you're fine.

  7. The MPAA is not enforceable by law - so even if you were to go by yourself there would be nothing "illegal" about it.

Really, it's just a matter of getting into the theater.  The theater may let your friends buy a ticket for you - or you might even be able to buy it yourself, since most of the theaters around me don't even bother to ID those who are obviously not seventeen.  Or they may not let you in at all without a "parent or legal guardian" - it really just depends on the theater.

  8. It depends on how strict your state laws are and how strict the movie theater's own rules are.  Some movie theaters won't sell multiple rated R tickets to someone under a specific age.  Even if the friend is able to get an additional ticket their's still a chance you could be IDed at the kiosk where your ticket is taken.  Your best bet might be just to buy a ticket to a PG movie, preferably near where Hamlet is playing.  In my experience with going to the movies no one's paying attention to what theater you walk into...If you choose this method keep an eye out for security (probably won't be a problem) and don't make the mistake of buying a movie-ticket for a movie playing in a separate part of the theater!

  9. No thats fine. Do it all the time... haha

  10. Take it from someone who WORKS IN A THEATRE:

You can go with an older person, but they have to be 21 years or older with an ID and have to stay with you for the duration of the movie. Either that or go with your parents.  Don't try any tricks cause everyone is trained to keep an eye on the R films and even have someone on guard upon entry. If you get caught you will be warned and if you try again, you will be asked to leave the theatre. Just go with an older friend and it will be fine.

  11. as long as u have an adult with u (someone with an id). They don't care...

  12. Yeah they would have to be over 21.

  13. DUDE THEY DON'T EVEN TELL YO

ANYTHING YOU CA JUST BUY YOUR

    TICKET ON YOUR OWN!!!

  14. If you have your parents permission to see the movie it's not a big deal really. You could get in trouble though, but I never have. That movie looks terrible to me though....

  15. You can see it if you're with an adult, don't sweat it! It's not illegal.

  16. it should be ok.it is here as long as the person buying is over 18
