Question about my bail bond payments?

I was thrown in jail and my stepdad put in a good word to a bail bondsmen to get me out for free but we worked out a payment plan and everything was good. then I went to my court date and the charges were dropped, now the bail bondsmen is wanting half of his money (1000$) now or he is going to revoke my bond even though this is not what we agreed to originaly. my question is since the charges were dropped can they put me back in jail for getting my bond revoked?

If the charges are dropped there is no reason for you to be on bond,  unless this person owns you or something weird

If the charges were dropped, there is no more bail requirement. He's smoking you.
