my mum came home from work and he was at the back door putting his paw up at the window and he came in and he couldnt walk on his right paw it was like .. limp and it was curled in and we got to the vets and they took a look and they asked us when we had noticed it & stuff. and we said he was normal and didnt notice anything then the vet came back and said that it could be paralysis, heart problem or blood clot or something. his eyes was dead wide and he was blue. they wernt quite sure until they did tests they kept him in an warm incubator with oxygen going 2 him cos he **** breath properly and we got the opportunity 2 go and see him before we went home and my mum said yea but i wasnt sure cos i dint wanna see him with a drip. cos he had one of them too. but we saw him with his head resting on a pillow and i spoke thru a hole to him and he looked with his head and cried :'( so we had 2 go home then mum rang back at half 6 and they hadn't seen to him yet the vet was busy they said they'd ring us back when they had. so mum was gona ring but they rang and they said it was a blood clot in his paw. his heart was still racing even with the medication 2 calm him down.his heart is racing really fast all of a sudden they think its a heart problem which is a underlying condition meaning even if they get rid of this one then there could be others even if they amputate his paw. because its a heart problem not just in his paw. and if there are other clots like in his lungs it will cause distress and if it goes into his back legs then they will have to put him down immidiatly because of the pain. he looked perfectly normal yesterday & to us hes the best cat we cud of ever asked for. im wondering how in the space of a few houres these clots take action. & im wondering if they can rapidly spread quickly. they have given him an anti clot thing a thinning drug all we can do now is hope. I keep thinking different things about making him better but they say the vet knows best so..im wondering how in the space of a few houres these clots take action. & im wondering if they can rapidly spread quickly.
