Question about my new clothes steamer?

i bought a steamer to steam my clothes with. i was wondering if i could put a few drops of lavender oil in the water? would it ruin the steamer?

  1. It will ruin the steamer!

    Try spritzing the clothing with dilute, very dilute lavender and water afterwards......but remember, you are dealing with an oil that may mark the fabric.


  2. The oils will ruin your clothes!  Don't do it.

  3. use only a little tiny bit so it doesnt stain the clothes you are steaming

  4. Probably not since the oil is more volitale than water.However I wouldn't put JUST the oil in it.
