Question:

Question about my pregnancy???

When i was pregnant, at every appt my doctors said that she was head down engaged. Right from 32 weeks.

I swore that i could feel the head at my side sometimes..and kicking in my v****a constantly!!

Everytime i asked my doctors they reassured me that she was head down.

Now im wondering do you think it was a mistake of the doctors? Or that she switched from head down to breech all the time?

I also though that switching like that was very uncommon for your 1st baby?? If so what does it mean? Like i have a loose stomach or something?

Any help would be great x

  1. What are you saying? That the doc's were wrong and your baby turned out to be breech at birth?

I'm 36 weeks and often have a hard lump sticking out on the right side of my belly button. I think it's bub's bum. The doc's usually have a pretty good idea of what they are feeling, and if they are unsure they will say so.

My baby was breech for most of my pregnancy, then turned head down for 2 weeks at around 32 weeks, then turned breech again for 2 weeks. Now at 36 weeks She's back to head down again. I'm hoping she'll stay there.

Nothing to do with a loose stomach. Babys just tend to flip around sometimes.

  2. No, one of my friends was told she was breech from 32 weeks. The baby then turned at 35 weeks, turned back around at 36 weeks, and she had to have a cesarian at 38 weeks. It was her first pregnancy too.

Babies are all different, and pregnancies are too. Your baby probably just turned a lot

  3. Honestly, my daughter felt kind odd and i was always wondering where exactly she was in the beginging... thanks to having a 10 lb baby (yikes!) towards the end i could actually tell which parts were where.... i expirienced the same thing and i figured out finally that it was her moving her head around that felt like kicking and what i used to think was her head moving around my middle and side was actually her butt! lol

good luck with your pregnancy and congratulations!
