I bought a car with 6 twelve inch audiobahn subs 400 watts each in there. They're are decent amps in there now but i feel like i could be gettin alot more from the subs. What kind of amp/how many channels or whatever would i get the best and loudest sound from?

  1. well for 6 400 watt rms subs your gonna need 2000+ watts of power. a perfect amp for that power is the rockford fosgate t20001bd. i dont kno what ohm load you get with 6 subs but if you can get a 1 ohm load thats the perfect amp for your subs. keep in mind its not cheap. rockford is one of the best amps your gonna find. it will rock those subs massively

  2. for a better sound and not overloading the amp i recomend having 2 x 1500w amps and have 3 subs run of each amp.

this will give a good sound and be able to hold it even if you crank the level right up.

i think it whould be good if you got 2 channel amps and run 2 subs on each channel and the other 2 run bridge on each amp this will give you 2 subs that punch a little harder and give you a difference in levels rather than all 6 on one level.
