Question about my very little indian accent?

hey guys, i dont know if you have noticed, but people who came from india, needs to work on their 'V's and 'W's, what would be your advice of fixing that part of my accent. what are some of the words that lotta indian tend to stumbled upto. i dont wanna be out there saying words like Vodka in indian accent....please gimmie some advice on how to fix them.

    Kiss your " w "

    Bite your " v "

    welcome = wel'come and not velcome

    velvet = vel'vet and not welvet.

    Study about sounds in English, especially vowel sounds.


  2. V and W are similar but when you say V, your top teeth go on your bottom lip. Sorry I can't be more specific.

    Edit: I found a website about pronouncing English, here is what it said: To pronounce V, place your top front teeth against your bottom lip (as with F), but then without releasing air,  vibrate your vocal cords and release your teeth from your lip.

    If you still can't do it I would say listen to native English speakers say words that start with V and try to copy them until you get it. You can search for words that start with V in online dictionaries and they usually have sound files with someone saying the word.
