  1. Nothing beats living a healthy lifestyle and eating healthy food, having said that.......

    To answer your question:

    It depends on the brand.

Some brands are absolutely rubbish and a waste of many.

However, some brands work exceptionally well and can be a huge benefit to your overall health, especially if used in conjunction with a good diet.

The brands that work really well cannot normally be brought directly off the shelf.

You need to have a naturopath consultation where you and the naturopath will discuss your needs or illness or deficiencies and they will recommend the best brands for you to take.

Poor quality brands (although there are exceptions) are the ones  normally brought by anyone over the counter.

Top-of-the-range products should say on the label.......”for practitioner dispensing only.

You don’t need to have an appointment with a naturopath each time you need another bottle, as they will put your name on an approved list. If you are not on this list, you can’t buy the top-of-the-range products.

This is how is works in Australia, your country may have a different system.

It is always best to have a professional session with a naturopath, rather than diagnosing yourself. As there is not much point taking an iron supplement, if you don’t actually have an iron deficiency. Just a waste of money, if your body doesn’t actually need that particular product.

Supplements are particularly good when your body needs an extra boost – recovering from an injury, having a mineral deficiency, warding off colds in winter, in intense sports training, strengthen your immune system, after a course of medical drugs which would have depleted your body of essential minerals, during pregnancy etc...

I had to take steroid drugs for an illness and they completely depleted me. Afterwards I took several nature supplements over a period of six months to help me get well again. Sometimes when you have been very sick (even if eating well), you need an added extra boost to get you back on your feet.

If you ate purely organically certified produce with an emphasis on fresh raw vegetables and fruit, you may be able to get away with not taking supplements.

However, most conventional soil is so depleted of minerals, and produce is so heavily sprayed and we lead such busy and stressful lifestyles (with bad food choices) not to mention all those medications we take each year..........most people would benefit from a good quality supplement.

  2. No, they are just a waste of money.  They are only good if you don't eat normal but if you do then you get more vitamins than a pill can give you.

  3. Don't know the brand you are asking for, nevertheless good quality supplements are very important to take.

The amount of minerals and vitamins in our daily food is getting lower and lower, so their is a poor chance of getting all the important nutrients from our diet.

Harley Cowgirl is maybe having better chance of getting the right nutrients from the area she lives in. I wander if she is chasing the cows on the Harley bike??

  4. "No, they are just a waste of money. They are only good if you don't eat normal but if you do then you get more vitamins than a pill can give you."

Could that response be any more naive? LEARN your facts before giving advice darling! You obviously don't know how vitamins work in pill form nor in food form.egh.

I have never heard of nature cure vitamins.I would suggest buying a supplement that is from a reputable place instead of kind that are in grocery stores.

    Look for quality.

And remember that All the nutrients you eat in food might not get to your body as well as pill form so it is good to do both.
