  1. I dont recall but look at the website www.allnurses.com

    That is very helpful.

  2. Its called tuition reimbursement. It is not as simple as you seem to think.

I mostly hear of this for current employees, so you may need to get hired as a CNA and work for a certain amount of time before they will allow this. THe course is 75 hour in most states and it is excellent experience. You will be washing people and wiping p**p, if you can't deal with it then you won't get through nursing school. They may require that you work during school, which may be tough with all the demanding classes that will be required.

It will not be "for free". Most only offer a percentage of the tuition. Even if they cover 100% of the tuition and fees, there are lots of other expenses that I can't imagine any hospital would cover in full. My anatomy book (including the lab manual) was about $280, and nursing books get very expensive. Tuition reimbursement can help, but you still should start saving money. APply for scholarships and financial aid.

  3. Kaiser Permente has school remimbursment programs....where you intitally pay for school and then they pay you back.  other hospitals may do that too.  call around or surf the net.

  4. Err, its on the tip of my toungue.......dang, forgot it. Srry.
