Question about observing Jupiter?

What time is Jupiter currently rising in Northern California? It has been so smokey here I haven't been keeping up. Thanks.

Since we're only a few days away from opposition, it's essentially visible all night. Tonight in San Francisco, it rises at 8:50 p.m. and sets at 6:25 a.m.

i live in california too. i see jupiter best after midnight. it has risen from the horizon, which makes for a clearer picture. make sure to look for those four galolein moons! be on the watch for europa calsitoe ganymede and io. happy observing!
