Question about owner ship ?

My Father has passed recently away, the ownership is still under his name. The Vehicle is in the garage in the parking lot. Now in order for me to drive how can i get the ownership transfered on to my name??

In my state you will need a copy his death certificate and just go down to the (DMV) and they will help you transfer this for you.

I think it depends on what state you live in. Now in Mass. the surviving spouse get the vehicle with little to no money spend. If any other family member wants the car then it has to go through probate court. Hope this is some help.

you sign his name on tittle under sellers name and you sign under buyer name and really thats al you need to do go the dmv as if you just brought it i did it with  my dad and mom and my grand mother had no problems and sorry for your loss
