Question about pain in the upper abs area?

My wife is experiencing a constant pain. The location of the pain is as follows. Draw a line straight down from her sternum to her bellybutton. Directly after her last rib, move over to her right 2 inches and there it is. It does not hurt her when you push on it and it is not swollen. But she says it constantly hurts and radiates over to the exact same spot on her left side. I am thinking maybe some sort of damage to the muscle, but i don't know. What do you think?

im no doctor but she could have pulled a muscle i would suggest going to find out from a doctor to be safe...or check it out on

they might have some suggestions on there.
