Question:

Question about paint texture?

I just bought some of the paint texture you roll on and then sponge around. My question is should I texture behind the cabinets or just the exposed areas? The answer is probably obvious but I want to make sure i'm not over-looking something. I already primed and sealed the whole area.

thx

  1. simple. seal  and prime whole area ok, now for tex and paint you can do only exposed areas, however establish line for top of base cabinets and do tex and paint 6 in below and behind fridge, top cabinets same 6 inch in from sides and bottom, this allowes you to spread tex in sweeps instead of starts and stops, behind cabinets i promise to never look. jerry 30 years contractor, now do a good job, OK. you may contact me at yahoo mail if you have further questions. HOWEVER  TEXTURE ROLL ON IS A MISTAKE ON KITCHENS. pro spray knockdown or flat walls best, please rethink... additional info from you, yes you are commited now, if you are happy with it then that is all that matters!

  2. well that sounds like a fantastic time

  3. i'd do it everywhere, as if you move the furniture it will be dificult to do it all again!

    sounds good.

  4. If the cabinets are nailed to the wall, then no leave them be.  You will be only making more work for yourself.
