Question about parantheses?

if im ending a sentence and lets say the last word is anything. not any word in particular,

I want to end the sentence but i dont know if i should put the PERIOD in the parentheses or OUT OF the parenthese

for example

End of sentence ( LOVE. ) or ( LOVE).

Which would be correct, inside or outisde the parenthesis?

outside.  The period ends the sentance.

The period always gets the final, uh word so to speak.

Good question. I don't think I've ever seen the parentheses put inside the brackets, they go outside.

The correct way would be putting it on the outside of the parentheses

It can be both [Providing, your sentence in Parenthesis is punctuated too.].

In practice though I suspect most of us only apply the period after the closing bracket.
