I was writing a girl from (I can't mention which country) by myspace last July and we started talking on the phone. Pretty good friends. She invited me to come to her home for a vacation. I know that she wanted me to come in January and close to November and December she was wanting to get serious with the relationship. Which I liked her alot but I was not too serious. Then before the trip my mother showed me dateline NBC and it was about passport fraud. After the trip I definately knew that is what she wants. I have a recording of her on tape by the telephone. Is this something that I could have Chris Hansen on Dateline look at or should I take it to the Government. Or just forget about it and move on. I did not lose anything but the fact that she could have done much damage to my life. I really would love revenge. It is so sweet to have revenge. Before I started taping she asked me if I would tell the police and I said no with my fingers crossed.

  2. Not quite certain what you mean by passport fraud, and how she would involve you, but in the grand scheme of things, it really is not earth shattering news - such schemes are going on all the time, so your situation is not that news worthy.  And unless a crime was committed, no official party will take much interest.  That said, by recording the phone conversations, you should be aware that you run the risk of violating serious state and federal laws, depending upon the circumstances.
