Question about p***s: erect of flaccid?

Okay so I'm not very sexually experienced and have only been with a couple of guys. The other night I was with my boyfriend and it was the first night we fell asleep together afterwards. Well I woke up in the middle of the night and my boyfriend was sleeping flat on his back, and his p***s was"flopped" up against his stomach (the p***s is leaning back towards his stomach). It wasn't rock hard and standing up like what an erect p***s would normally look like, but I thought when a p***s is flaccid, it kind of "droops" (lol) and is a lot smaller than when erect? I mean his p***s was like the size it is when it's hard. Does this mean he still had a hard on? Semi-hard on? Or was it flaccid?

I have honestly never seen a flaccid p***s before since everytime we have s*x and he takes off his pants, he is already erect.

It was either semi-erect or that was his flaccid size!  Guys are different.

But yeah mine flaccid is like you described!  lol  Soft its only 1.5" and hard 4.8".  I know, 4.8" isn't very big.  lol

BTW, semi erect mine looks almost as big as when its hard, so your bf probably had a semi.  Or maybe he's just big either way.  You didn't tell us how big.

Guys get erections several times per night, it's normal.

There are different stages of erection, sometimes partial, or semi-hard, and this is more than likely what you saw.

Why don't you ask your boyfriend if you can see his p***s when not erect?     It's only normal and natural that you have curiosity about it, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, familiarizing yourself with the male anatomy won't hurt.

well, the p***s is usually a lot smaller when flaccid then erect.

Anatomically, a normal p***s is 3-5 inches non-erect; 5-7 inches fully erect.The larger a p***s is when it is flaccid, the less it will expand when erect.

when man sleep, usually their p***s becomes erect over the night, they don`t necessary have to have a erotic dream or something like that, it just happens.  so i`m guessing your bf had is erect or semi-erect.

He may be half hard. During sleep, guys get spontaneous erections for the purpose of renewing blood to the p***s for oxygen.

The ‘average’ length of an erect adult p***s is about 6".

It’s worth remembering that the average adult p***s is 'designed' to fit the average depth of the adult v****a which is also about 6".

There is no normal or average size for a soft/flaccid p***s because they vary enormously. Some guys ‘shrink’ a lot more than others when soft. You can NEVER judge how big a guy will be when he is erect from his soft p***s size.

It's amazing the things we learn.  Each guy's chemical makeup is different.  What one guy has or shows will more than likely be different from the next guy's.   If it is no cause for concern, I wouldn't worry about it.

I have come across what is described as the "growers and showers" phenomenon of flaccid penises.  In other words some guys have small flaccid p***s that more than double when they become erect and others have larger flaccid penises and may gain only 50% upon erection.  Here's more info:

   * Average p***s length (flaccid/not erect): from 3.4 inches to 3.7 inches (8.6 cm to 9.3 cm)

    * Average p***s length (erect): from 5.1 inches to 5.7 inches (12.9 cm to 14.5 cm)

    * Average p***s girth (circumference when erect): from 3.5 inches to 3.9 inches (8.8 cm to 10 cm)

    Here are the major studies:

    Journal of Urology (1996?) L12.9 cm (5.08"), International Journal of Impotency (1998?) 13.6 cm (5.35"), and LifeStyles Condoms (2002?) 14.9 cm (5.9"): range nearly an inch (conclusion: most are between 5-6.5": less is small; more is big (not huge), Flaccid 3.5" and Erect 6": another Soft 3" and 5" hard, 2" soft and 4.5" (225%); another dude 3" soft and erect 5.5" (183%). The results from three studies of p***s size where the measurements were taken in a laboratory setting give the following ranges:

    There is more variety in sizes of flaccid penises but when erect they converge at about 5.5".      One theory to explain this phenomenon is as follows.  Males whose ancestors came from warm whether areas of the world tend to be showers to attract females: they can walk around dangling without environmental problems.  But those whose ancestors came from Northern or Southern areas of cold and ice had to have a p***s able to shrivel up close to the body to protect the p***s from exposure to ice and cold whether.   Sounds reasonable.
