Question about periods & coming off the pill....?

I stopped taking the pill about 4 weeks ago. I got my period yesterday & it's only been 21 days since my last period. My periods are like clockwork & I get them every 28 days without fail. Is it because I've gone off the pill that my period will be a bit out of whack?

Oh yeah.  My periods were totally messed up for about 5 months or so after going off the pill.  They would come early or late, be really light or super heavy (so heavy once that I was a bit worried).  Then, after that, they regulated themselves, although I feel like I had shorter cycles than while on the pill and before ever going on the pill.
