Question about piercings!?

I am thinking about getting a lip ring, but I have a few questions about it. First, how is the piercing done? Next, does it hurt? I am okay with a quick pierce and then I deal with the pain afterwards, but I hope there isn't the piercing part and then s******g the ring inside. Any help out be absolutely appreciated.

naw da lip ring doenst hurt i have dat one down its reli fast but im gonna go get my nose or eyebrow ring down next week so im scared dat might hurt

The lip piercing really isn't that bad.  I've found my nose to be much worse and I've done that several times.  They clamp your lip and stick the needle in the inside of your mouth and poke through that way.  You have this long needle sticking out of your lip for just a moment (doesn't hurt after the actual piercing of the lip.)  Then they just slide the piercing through while they are removing the needle.  The piercing itself goes by so fast that it is over and done with before you know it.  Out of all my piercings my lip ring is by far my favorite!  Good luck I bet it will look great. :)
