Question about posting on Ebay?

Question

if I post an item for sale on ebay and decide to take it down the next day will i get charged a fee?

also if i post the item and then someone bids am i stuck, could i still take down the posting without selling?

Please answer truthfully with maybe experience on this matter. Thank you

From experience.

You will be charged the fee for listing the item. You will not be charged any other fee if you take the item down, even if the item has a bid, you can end the auction with no penalty (unless there is less than 12 hours left on the auction).
