Question about pozole?

i ate some at my Bf's house and the color of the liquid was red, and i asked my mom about it and she told me that pozole was not red! Is that true? do you have any sights i might be able to look at?

There are three kinds of pozole: white, red and green. My mom makes white but I have tasted the other ones. I honestly don´t know how the broth is made... hehe

It depends on what you use to make the broth. My grandma makes a green one with tomatillo and a red one with a red chili pepper. She also uses either chicken or pork when she makes it.

There's red posole made with "chile cascabel" and green pozole made with tomatillo and chile serrano.
