I noticed that the S.C. Democratic Primary and the Iowa Primary had more voter turnout than their respective Republican primaries. What has been the breakdown of voter turnout over all of the primaries this year?

  1. People in both parties see what has happened to their country and are not to pleased. Unfortunately it was under this administration that most of the things happened and Republicans feel the pinch as well.....Jobs sent overseas....Heating oil out of site....Our men and women dying for infighting in Iraq.....food prices out of control.....greed everywhere you look....scary market problems.....no health insurance...this might have some something to do with it....It's just a thought.

  3. it was low in most areas,  Iowa and SC are two exceptions

  4. Voter turnout in every election has gotten increasingly worse.  This year actually looks better than most because there are so many polarizing candidates.  Apathy fuels a great deal of the low-voter-turnout-phenomenon, essentially, people are so used to their freedoms they feel no passion to protect or use them.  It's a sad state of affairs, really, and it gets even worse during the non-presidential election years.
