  2. omg! i got one but i had went through this program for tenage girls for a year and at the end we had a ceremony and they gave us our rings it was so beatiful

  3. It is only for you. It only shows your commitment. It is not about religion. It is about reminding yourself of what you've decided. You do not have to have a priest bless it, there is no ceremony, and not even the ring is important. You could have purity eyelash curlers you used every morning and it would do the same thing.

  4. I'm not sure of a specific ring called a promise ring although my wife gave a ring to our son with the verse John 3:16 and wears it on his wedding finger as a symbol of faithfulness to God almighty.

  5. Just ask " I want to see what kind of purity rings you have". You can find them also from Christian book stores or order form the internet

  6. I got a purity ring for my birthday (I asked my mom and dad for one) at this website:  http://www.truelovewaitsrings.com/

Mine came with a paper that said: "I promise God, my future mate, and myself, to keep my mind and body morally clean and pure so that when I enter the marriage covenant, I will be able to give myself with a completely clean conscience to my mate."

After that I dated the paper, put my signature on it, and my Mom and Dad signed it as witnesses. And that was it. Now I wear the ring all the time as a reminder of my commitment. :)

  7. James Avery?

The guy who played Uncle Phil on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air?

Is that what he's doing now?

Selling purity rings to pre-teens? LOLOLOLOL

Well, good for you for wanting to stay 'pure'. I've seen a some people in my school have s*x and get pregnant when they were ready.

Although,I don't think you need a ring to stay a virgin. That's just something that some Christians do to make money. It's really pathetic

    @ Everard G,that's so true!

  8. Stop with the d**n purity rings, if you don't want to bump uglies you wouldn't need a ring on your finger to tell you not too.

  9. there are several places where you can order them online ( do a google search) also, if there is a religious store in your area, they'd sell them, too. no, you don't need to be blessed by a priest.

good for you for choosing what you want in life. however, don't think that your self-worth is based on whether or not you're a virgin. :)

  10. You can check out my online store - http://stores.ebay.com/The-Promise-Ring-...

It has a large range of promise rings, with prices starting at just $9. I've also included lots of information about the history of promise rings, so you can know all about them before you pick one!

You don't have to have a ceremony, as the most important thing is your personal decision. However making public vows can help make your vows feel more 'real'. Ceremonies can be done at a place of worship, your home, or anywhere you feel comfortable.

  11. Kid; if you get and wear a purity ring all you're doing is advertising that you don't play.

You have no idea what a turn-on that is for a bloke; blokes love that sorta challenge.

  12. Try going to Christianbooks.com.They have some there. I don't think you need to have it blessed. It is a covenant between you and God.

  13. My parents bought me a beautiful emerald ring which became a symbol of my purity commitment to them & my future husband.

My sister was given a full set of blue topaz since hers was cheaper she had to give hers back with tears and regret I was able to show mine proudly to my future husband who was very happy I waited and he never pressured me before our wedding but was content to marry a "good girl"

however if you are a boy I think Morgans makes a nice manly ring that talks about purity on it???

you don't need it blessed you just need to see it as a symbol of your commitment.

  14. If your that uncomfortable asking for a purity ring shop on line. R u serious about getting one for what it stands 4 or you just like them because of how they look...? Either way, its a piece of jewelry.

  15. I'm with Caturday. "Purity rings" are just a stupid marketing concept.
