Question about rar. and zip. downloads?

Question

I went and downloaded some items from modthesims2, I have winrar, and I took the archive and chose, "Extract Here" so, i saw more items pop up, I went on the body shop, and none of the stuff i downloaded was there. is there something i didn't do, or whats up? Like i said, I hae winrar, I saved winrar to my documents, and I saved the archives to a new folder, like you're supposed to. Please help me and tell me what to do... :-(

Look at the readme that probably came with it. It will tell you exactly where to put the files. My guess is that you didn't put them in the correct locations. They'll go in the Sims directory, not your documents. Make sure you aren't playing the game when you do it.
