Question about rats nails?

we have a "fancy rat" the pet ones that r tame and the nailes r super sharp!!!!!! we have a rock in her cage wat Else can we do?

I never worried about their nails, but they make a type of nail clippers for small dogs that might work for your rats. Or they might even make a type of nail clippers for rats, go ask a pet store.

You can carefully clip the tips of the claws.  A regular nail clipper will do.  Just be careful.  Pet rats are generally easy to handle, so it should be a lot easier than clipping a cat's or dog's nails.

Not much really. You can try clipping them or filing them, but the rock should keep them in check. Just wear long sleeved shirts whenever you handle them. That's what we do.
