  1. I would think that overall you should be fine.  Angelfish are semi-aggressive chiclid species and inhabit the top levels of the aquarium while the redtail which is also semi-aggressive mainly stays near the bottom.  Since they are not conflicting over space and can each hold their own against the other you should be good.  Not to mention you also have a fair amount of tank space and hideouts which should lower stress and aggression levels.

  2. I have a 55 gallon tank set up with 3 Red tailed sharks and 4 Large angel fish, when i first got the sharks I was worried that the sharks would nip my Angel's tails but I only had one shark take a very very small nip at my biggest angel like right after I transferred the shark in. but that was 4 years ago and with no incident ever again.

  3. I have a angel fish and a red tail shark in the same 10 gallon take mine arnt as big as yours they are probably both half the size but they dont seem to bother each other. I just keep them well fed because my shark nips when it gets hungry. Another thing is just to keep lots of caves for the shark. Hope I helped. You could always try it and then if you see any aggression find a new set up. Good luck.

  4. i used to breed freshwater angelfish. i think so but the problem is if you have an angelfish of the long tail variety, you might have to worry about the fins getting nipped.  there shouldn't be any problem with fighting but it's the long fins of the angelfish you need to worry about.
