Question about redlight cameras

I live in Maryland. I know that there are redlight cameras, but do they only exist in busy areas? or are they on every traffic light?

it all depends.... but in GA, they have to have it posted that that particular red light has a camera...the signs down here say "photo enforced"

they can exist anywhere, and everywhere!! just be careful, cuz they want to catch you to make you pay!! believe me, i've already gotten one in a non busy street in nyc.

Look on top of either the signal light, or the arm it's mounted on. The camera's are in plain sight.

I used to live in Maryland. I know the most run one is getting off the Jones Falls Expressway to Baltimore City near the shot tower. I have gotten that one 3 Times in my teen years. They are not on every light, but they are on more traveled lights and areas where accidents are more common. If the were on every stop light, MD taxes will be up more than they already are! This is why I left; Too Expensive!
