Question about rising food prices and gas prices???????

If the gas and food prices ( which go hand and hand) keep going up, could this cause some people to actually get malnurished or starve because they can't afford to buy food. I mentioned gas prices because gas is the main reason why our food prices have gone out of hand. I heard that hot dogs weinees are going to be going up to almost $3 a package very soon. It's really got me worried.

It is going to go from bad to worse in a short space of time. We have never had this ideal setting for a perfect storm such as this before. Oil prices are going unchecked because the two oil men in the white house are not going to run for office again, and they are letting the oil companies, the speculators, and wall street to use this situation to make as much profit as can be made while the rest of the country suffers. Every thing that we buy is affected by the high cost of energy. The cost of food is sky rocketing upwards world wide and food is getting to be in short supply in some parts of the world. The giant U.S. food corporations are starting to sell their product to the highest overseas bidder. This is causing a rise in our own food prices beyond the increase due to energy increases. There will be some point at which the U.S food supply will be in short supply due to profiteering on the part of the food giants, much the same as the oil companies export oil overseas to increase their profit margins. At some point there are going to have to be restrictions placed on these two items and the exportation banned when it is in short supply here at home.

It is a real problem, especially for people who make minimum wage and have to travel a distance to their jobs. Where I live everything is a thirty mile round trip. It is a real problem for people who have children and elderly people too. Some of the elderly on Social Security have been starving for years. Some had to eat pet food in cans to survive. How sad is this for a country like ours and I don't see any change in the future.

Even though some may not want to hear this, I am going to say it anyways. The Bible warns us of these things that are happening. Our Economy is just a tip of the Ice Berg. Many more Signs are all around. We just need to stay focused in His Word.

It is a very sad indication about the future of our universe. In such suitation either world war or Nature Disaster which can be indicated by Nature. I think this can be only solution of such problems and What is to be happened nobody can prevent of such present crises. Thanks to the questioner for an important question.

You buy a lot of hot dogs?Why are you spending money to get online if you can't afford food?. Gas is only $4 a gallon. Does everyone just make minimum wage in here?
