  4. in high school, your not going to rotate likee how the first person answered, because thats forr likee 10 yr. olds. but it depends on the coach and the type of rotation you do. likee you have a 6-2 5-1 4-3 andd a middle lead. (or at least thats all i kno) andd to kno where to go in some of those, you have to kno what position you are going to play.

  5. 1 goes to six, six to 5 goes to 4, 4 goes to 3, 3 goes to 2, and 2 goes to 1. it's pretty much automatic after 1 game.

  6. If u r in the frount u move to the left and if u r in the back u move to the left. so for the next play it would look like this

    5 4 3

    6 1 2

  7. You start out like this :

    432

    561

When you rotate you go to the right , so whoever is in 1 will go to 6 , person in 6 will go to 5, person in 5 will move up to 4 , person in 4 goes to 3 ... etc.

Also , when it's your serve, as soon as the ball is served , you switch into your position (so if your middle , and you rotated to position 5, you go to 6)

If the other team is serving, you have to get the ball over the from where you are, and THEN switch. Except the setters , they can move.

The above website has great diagrams for you to use in learning 6-2 or 5-1 rotation patterns.

  9. none of these answers are correct except for one.

it all depends on what type of play your running (6-2, 4-2...etc.)

so just ask your coach which play you are running and then they will let you know the rotation.

it also depends on if you have 1 or 2 setters.

  10. 1 goes to 6

    6 goes to 5

    5 goes to 4

    4 goes to 3

    3 goes to 2

    2 goes to 1

but after the ball is contatcted then you will go into your base postition.

Ex. oustside, middle, or right side hitter. defensive specialst or setter.
