Question about scangers?

this is a question for people from ireland. do all scangers listen to rap and house music or do some of them listen to rock?

"scangers"  have a youth culture all of their own, and are often the trend setters for teh rest of Dublin's youth. Their tastes in music are seldom as restricted as you describe. THey like any type of music that can be loudly boomed from their souped up fiestas, and pop music from whose ranks thay can choose role models for their more outrageous fashions. At the moment are inventing the "northside mullet", which I predict will soon be all the rage in about a year.

Definition of a scanger from net.

The stereotypical scanger wears a tracksuit, gold jewellery, runners, tattoos, piercings, is from a working class area of Dublin, and speaks with an exaggerated Dublin accent. Male scangers tend to have cropped haircuts and often wear Celtic F.C. shirts and/or drive cars with loud sound and exhaust systems.Pyjamas, bleached-blonde hair and large hoop earrings are popular with female scangers. Scangers are deemed a plague to the streets of Dublin.
