Methane can be broken down into carbon and hydrogen. If 9 grams of methane makes 6 grams of carbon, how many Carbon can 4 grams of methane make?

  1. 6/9 = 2/3

    4 (2/3) = 8/3

    From the information given, about 2.7 grams.

    I think though, that it takes 10 grams of methane to make 6 grams of carbon. I am not sure. You should put this question in the chemistry section.
