Question about scratches on pool tables?

yesterday, the table was scratched by the cuesticks b/c i allowed people who were bad at pool to play.

The scratches on your pool table are insignificant and should be expected with normal use. The felt has to be replaced periodically but that is part of owning a table. You table should continue to play just fine. However, if there are tears in your cloth, that will effect the way the balls roll across them and they should be repaired the next time you re-clothe your table. In th interim, I wouldn't allow novice pool players on a new table.
