Question about secondary education in Sydney. Please help!?

Can somebody please tell me if there is a FREE high school in Sydney for international students?

I'd appreciate any kind of help!

  1. Most high schools in Sydney are free for legal Australian residents. If you're a non-resident and you just rock up wanting to enroll (but why go to school in a city where you're not a resident?), then I think you need to get classified as an exchange student.

    In other words, if you're already enrolled at a non-Australian institution then your school will almost certainly have an exchange relationship with various high schools in Sydney. Ask your student adviser how it works -- if it's a direct exchange then there should be no problem and it should be free or cheap. The key is to try to have it arranged legitimately as a foreign exchange rather than just applying directly to the Australian school as a random individual. Good luck!
