Question about security sensors in stores

i bought a candy bar from a store but my little girl also grabbed the same kind of candy bar and i didnt know she put it in her pocket. i only paid for 1.. and the security thing didnt go off, y?

B/C there was no security bar in the candy. They really only have them on big things like dvds, cds, tvs, and other electronic stuff, also on pregnancy test, makeup, and some other things, to may to name. Hope I helped.
