Do you think If I have a well enough resume for my age group, and I sent out my resume/Headshots to tons of agents out in the country, they would probaly look at it??

Or do you think It would be a smart idea??

Because being that I am 16 I can't travel all over the country right now, but publicity is the key.

Please only serious reponses...

Thanks!

  1. No, it is a dumb idea, because you have to live near the agent you have. At 16, parents, not publicity is the key. Who says your resume is good enought to submit to agents?  You don't want 'well enough' you want the very best.

  2. I'm not an expert, so feel free to disregard my response.

IF you send out resumes and headshots to  bunch of agents around the country, and IF they look at it, and IF they decide that they want to represent you, you wouldn't be able to see them in person.  It would be sort of disapointing to them if they find a person that they are truely interested in, but then you are forced to decline just because you can't see them.  And then if you decline enough agents, then your rep might be noticed, just not in the way you want.

Or maybe you'll find an agent that is willing to come to you.  In that case, please contact me.  I would like to meet him. =]

I'll pray for you and your endeavers,

God bless, and keep your passion for acting! =]
