Question:

Question about shrooms?

i've been doing marijuana not for too long now and i've found it helpful with some relationship problems i've had recently (it helps me fall asleep among other things), but i've been given the option to do shrooms soon. i've heard a couple of things about them, but i would like to confirm if (1) you really need to devote a whole day to shrooms, (2) they're way better than marijuana, and (3) if you need to do them with someone else in case of emergency. Is there any truth to any of these? Should I stick with mj for now? Are shrooms a hard drug like cocaine? And please don't give me a lecture.

  1. 1> a whole day is a good idea, but more importantly, make sure you know where the shrooms come from. Know your source!

2> depends on what you are looking for

3> having a tripping buddy is an excellent idea, make sure he or she has done shrooms before.

As with any psychedelic experience, your own frame of mind when embarking on a trip is key to having a pleasurable experience, if you are happy = goooood, if you are bummed out your trip most likely will be a bummer as well. This is true for shrooms as well as LSD.

Shrooms are definitely not a hard drug, but if you get some bogus shrooms you won;t enjoy it much, and the taste can be somewhat, well not haute cuisine. Try making a tea and swallow the shrooms with the tea. Be advised that you are ingesting them, not smoking, so it will be a little while before you notice the effects. That means do not eat or drink tea and expect an immediate result, you'll have to wait from 30 to 60 minutes depending on your metabolism. Happy trips, wish I could join you!

  2. Yes you need to devote a day because the affects last 3-7 hours. I don't know if its better than marijuana, i've personally never tried either, but its said to be way different. Unlike marijuana this causes visual and auditory hallucinations. Photo imposed trails, fractiles, color changing, and object bending will appear. It is good to have whats called a trip sitter, who if you get scared or anxious can calm you down. Also its good because they can monitor your activities and make sure you don't do anything stupid. Shrooms are not a hard drug. They are non addictive, and non deadly. Despite that they are very serious. If you are depressed or in an emotional state you should not take them. A calm mind and strong psyche is required. The trip should be pleasant as long as you don't freak out. Do it when you are ready and don't feel anxious or scared. Let everything flow and enjoy it, don't fear it.

  3. 1.YES!!

2.depeneds on ur point of veiw i think yes

3.for your first time with most pills and shrooms yu should have what they call a babysitter. It is a really smart idea

    BTW

    With shrooms

yu really need to be carefull about were you do them

you should be in a happy invioment or yu might have a bad trip

  4. Here's my thoughts from personal experience:

    1. Ya you really need a whole day, you can expect to trip about 6-8 hours, and afterwards I always feel dead tired and just want to go to bed.

    2. Saying they're better than marijuana just depends on what you're looking for.  Shrooms make you hallucinate, but don't have much of an effect on your body, whereas (in my experience) marijuana gives you a body high but doesn't make you hallucinate.

    3. If it's your first time doing it, it may help ease you if you have someone sober there to guide you.  I've never had a sober person around, and I've always been fine, but I've heard experiences from friends where they benefited from it or wished that they had had it.

I don't know if shrooms would be considered as "hard" as cocaine because I don't know what your criteria is.  In terms of the law, you can get in more trouble for shrooms.  In terms of addictiveness, cocaine is addictive and shrooms are not.  And as for the health benefits, cocaine has obvious adverse effects and while I'm sure shrooms do too, there really hasn't been enough reserach done on them to know for sure.

    Hope that helps, happy tripping.

  5. 1. probably not but it'd be a good idea.

    2. they're way stronger, trippy stuff.

    3. I doubt it but, a friend would be nice.

They're not a "hard" drug, no addiction, but they're trippy stuff,... pretty colors.
