I was wondering if concentrated UV light, like the kind in tanning beds, has any effects on your teeth, like whitening them or anything, or on the inside of your mouth. I'm just curious - I don't plan to tan with my mouth wide open anytime soon.

  1. It will not whiten your teeth. But that kind of concentrated uv rays is so bad for your skin and is more likely to cause cancer than normal tanning in the sun.

  2. you will get cnacer and die!!!!!!

    and look prunny and ugly

  3. Probably not.  Not too many good things about them except a glow for teenagers and young women, with a heavy price tag.  Tanning beds are awful for your skin and a major player in development of skin cancer.

It is proven people with a nice image, white smile and rosy glow often have better opportunities in life, so attaining a socially accepted image of beauty is in one's best interest if it is not taken to extreme.  Try a spray tan instead, you will be happy later when your skin is not leathery and growing questionable moles.   For your teeth use any of the readily available commercial whiteners and chew gum, it prevents wearing of enamel by keeping your mouth moistened with saliva.
