Question about snowmobiles. longtrack vs regular track?

preferable ski doo. What is better for groomed trail riding? long track (not summit mtn sleds) or regular shorter track? And which is better for riding in fresh powder?

Regardless of conditions groomed or powder I have found a long track machine to be more comfortable. If you are riding in marginal snow conditions generally long track sleds have a taller lug height than a short track machine so you will end up melting a set of slides in a hurry. All in the end in marginal snow conditions I prefer a short track, and in most all other conditions I prefer a long track.
