Question about spacers?

i'm getting braces put in soon because of a massive over-bite that is going to be operated on next year. in the mean time i just want to know if a spacer falls out before i get the braces on can it stop the whole procedure going ahead?

i got my spacers put on yesterday,

and im getting braces next friday.

well, they can fall out.

but the dentist can do them in 2 mins,

they told me sometimes they fall out, but that could be because you've already got a big enough gap there.

and they **rarely** fall out from eating tough food

but its still no recommended.

If they fall out, the only way it could delay your treatment is if you dont call the dentist.

your orthodontist will be able to bring you in and do them, because as i said its only a 2 min job.
