Ok, lets say I have a major winning lotto ticket. I would like to go to a lawyer to open a trust to claim the money, so that no one knows and I can protect my privacy.

What keeps the lawyer from claiming the money in his name and skipping town? How would I know if I'm being charged outrageous fees just because he knows what I'm now worth? When the $$$ is in a trust, it would be in my name within the trust? How do I keep my privacy and make sure I'm not robbed?

I'd like to have a CPA or financial planner, but same problem. What keeps them from cleaning out my bank account and leaving me with nothing? I do not trust ANYONE for ANYTHING.

If the $$$ is in a trust at the bank, how would I withdraw $$$ to put into my checking account without people in the bank knowning? I live in a very small town and I don't want the people at the bank talking about my person information. And what would keep someone at the bank from withdrawing my $$$ and disappearing? I just want to be protected!

  1. You really can not protect you privacy 100%.

Even a trust has beneficiaries and ownerships, which can not be hidden from everyone.

For the CPA/Financial Palnner the way to stop them is NOT give then the power to make trades/transfers over a certain amount of $$.  Without your signnature.

Instruct all the instationas that you place money with that any transaction over a certain amount must be done in person by you ONLY (yes a little inconvient you you do not trust anyone)

The trust would need to distribute the $$ to you.  Again there would be fees for this as is a distribution that need to be recorded and tracked.

For your fear of Banks, have on-line access to your accounts and notifiy the bank of any suspencious activities.

Remember there are others out there with more $$ than you and this type of stealing is not happening all over.

Lastly, if you really do not want everyone in your town knowing your business, do all of this a a BIG bank in the closest BIG city.
