Question:

Question about student visas and the UK?

I was looking at student visas for the UK. I understand that students cannot have more than 20 hours of part-time work unless it's absolutely necessary for their degree. And that this work can only be undertaken during term time.

Is there such thing as a summer term? Can students work during that time if they are NOT EU/UK citizens if it does not exceed 20 hours?

  1. The homeoffice rules state that you can work 20 hours per week during term time and 40 hours per week during holidays.
