Question about styling bangs... help? ?

alright, i got full bangs about 2 month ago, but now they grew out and i wear them on the side. But i can't seem to make them lay smoothly across my forehead. They do for a while after i style them, but then they kinda take the shape of a backward S. Straightening doesn't help cuz it just makes them too straight and stick out. So i was wondering are there any products i can use that will help me style them or help with straightening without making my hair look greasy.. thanks

p.s. something besides hairspray cuz hairspray just makes the bangs hard and then it's hard to brush them, i don't like that..

  2. hahaa! my hair does that backward S after i take a shower !

it bothers me like crazy if i dont straighen it tho.. lol

anyways i got the same problem and usually straighen does work cause like instead of straighten just OUT u gotta straighten it towards you a little , like straighten it "in" as in towards ur forhead a little.

idk, hope it helps tho :D

  3. HAIR WAX ALL THE WAY.

seriously, my side bangs NEVER looked better.

use the brand Gatsby (Japanese) it's the best.

just dab a little on your for-finger and rub it between your thumb.

then swipe it on your bangs (mainly the edges) into a style that will hold and last throughout the day.

    good luck! :)

  4. A leave in conditioner while it is wet with your hair turned upside down.

If at all possible try to air dry after a light towel dry.

Do not use a straightener on the bangs but a round curling iron instead.

Take the iron and curl half pieces on the hot setting when ALMOST dry.

You will then be able to move the pieces to where you need to.

Oh yes and if your hair is getting greasy be sure that you are not using a moisturizing shampoo and/or conditioner.

  5. well have u ever thought about cutting them back to the full bangs... and if u dont want to do that. just straighten it.. and put a little gel in it.. at first it would look greasey. but it dries. and it keeps the hair from moving much at all. :).
