I got sunburn on my shoulder six days ago and today there are millions of tiny bubbles under the sunburn. Does this mean my skin is about to peel? Are these blisters or something?

  1. Yes, you're about to peel.  You may want to put some aloe lotion or Vitamin E gel on there for comfort...it's going to itch.

  2. You can try standing in a cold shower. 6 days is a little late, you still may be able to stop the burn. It is best to try and remove the heat from your burn as soon as possible. I would still try cold water or ice on it.

  3. you have skin cancer

  4. Well yea if there are lots of bubbles they are going to peel, try not to get sunburned in the first place.

  5. you got blistersb you will bee fine stay out of sun alot it will hurt you  skin will peel now good luck from fla

  6. Yes, you're gonna peel.  I recommend you buy aloe vera to rub on the burn.  It will soothe the pain and moisturize the burn, possibly reducing the peeling.

Now and in the future, I recommend that you use sunscreen with at least SPF 45 when you go out in the sun.

  7. those are blisterss

u must have got a bad sunburn

    try some cold aloe vera

meaning put it in the frige

it might soothe the pain if there is any

  8. i have fair skin and when mine does that it does start to peel but if you peel and its still there id say go to a doctor..

  9. Yes when those blisters break you will peel.

  10. Just part of the healing process. Sunburn is a wicked injury which should be cared for as much as an open wound on your body. Yes it is blistering, the outside skin is dead, new skin is developing and yes you are just about ready to peel. In the future, please take care of your skin better outside. It's more serious than we think.

  11. i had the same thing happen to me a while ago...just rub your fingers over them and water like substance will come out. i didnt get any blisters after it but i think you may have gotten a really bad sunburn...and for me, where those bubbles were turned into white spots but now its back to normal..just make sure to wear sunscreen next time!

  12. yeah it's gonna peel very soon..

or you probably need to get it checked out fast!

  13. yes they are blisters, and you are about to peel. and of course thou shall not prick it or peel forcefully! apply petroleum jelly, that will ease the pain and the itch

  14. Sounds like blisters but that does not mean it's going to peel. Sounds like you might be having a reaction to the sun. keep lotion on it

  15. Yes get ready.  you are going to get rid of some skin.  That means you will have to keep changing your sheets until you heal.

  16. yes, you probably have second degree burns. Get some Aloe. They make special sunburn stuff. You may not want to wear any good colthes in the next few days.

  17. that doesnt sound good

  18. you might want to get sunburn gel at like wall-mart or something it will help the burn. but the bubbles are blisters from the heat and burning your skin. hope i helped =}

  19. Blisters I got them on my shoulder and it was a bad sunburn. You'll probably have a lot of freckles once it's aall gone

  20. Oh! First, I'm so sorry! I remember this happened to me once. I went to the dermatologist, and he recommended putting a cool cloth on it for five minutes every hour, and putting aloe vera on it twice a day. I popped the blisters because I became annoyed with them, and nothing bad happened. Your skin won't peel, because these blisters are almost the next degree of sunburn... like, instead of peeling you have it worse and are blistering. Hope this helps and you get better soon!

  21. Yes, apparently you got a very bad burn. As it peels just keep it moisturized.

  22. Yes they are blisters as in loose, dead skin and yes it is about to peel, really, really soon.

And okay, you will be blotchy afterwards.  Put on aloe vera gel.

  23. Ouch!  I've experienced it living Down Under!  It hurts. :-(

Rub lots of aloe vera on your peeling skin.  It is the best moisturiser when it comes to sunburn.  Ideally, take it straight from a plant.  If you can't, though, get some aloe vera in a spray form from you local pharmacy.  Make sure it is the pure version (the others have alcohol in them and can exacerbate already upset skin).  Keep it in the fridge as it's even more soothing cold.

In future, if you find yourself in the same situation, rub aloe vera on from the first day and you will notice a dramatic difference to your experience this time. :-)

  24. Yes, your skin is about to peel.  The tiny bubbles should not have fluid in them, so they are not like a blister you'd get on your foot.
